Jiupai Safety Launches GOST 30694-2021 Certification for FTK-Q/B Fire Helmet for Russian Market
On October 6–7, 2026, the on-site audit for Russian standard certification of our FTK-Q/B fire helmet officially commenced. The certification expert panel from Russia’s authorized testing institute visited our manufacturing base for factory tour, production assessment, product sampling and performance tests. The certification is implemented in accordance with GOST 30694-2021, the current national standard of the Russian Federation — Fire helmets. General technical requirements and test methods. This marks the official launch of the Russian market access certification process for the FTK-Q/B fire helmet, laying a solid foundation for our product expansion in Russia and other Russian-speaking fire equipment markets.
This certification represents a key milestone in our market development strategy for Russia. GOST 30694-2021 is the primary mandatory standard for fire helmets in Russia. Targeted at fire-fighting and rescue scenarios, it sets stringent requirements for multiple safety indicators including impact resistance, penetration resistance, flame retardancy, high & low temperature mechanical performance, chin strap strength, thermal radiation protection, water resistance and electric shock protection. The standard fits Russia’s vast territory and can accommodate extreme operating environments ranging from -40℃ to +50℃. Apart from laboratory sample testing, Russian certification inspectors must conduct on-site verification of production capacity and quality control system to verify consistency of manufacturing processes, making the on-site assessment a vital part of the certification procedure.
During the two-day audit, the Russian expert team toured our production workshop, raw material warehouse and finished-product testing laboratory, inspecting the whole production workflow from raw material incoming inspection, shell injection molding, component assembly to finished product testing. The experts focused on verifying the qualification documents of polycarbonate shell raw materials, reviewing mold production processes and factory inspection records, and strictly checking all technical parameters. In strict compliance with GOST 30694-2021, the experts sampled FTK-Q/B fire helmets and carried out key tests including impact absorption, sharp object penetration resistance, low-temperature mechanical performance, flame retardancy, chin strap tensile strength and thermal radiation protection.
Throughout the on-site assessment, our technical, production and quality teams provided full support, introducing the design concept and structural advantages of the FTK-Q/B fire helmet to the Russian experts. The FTK-Q/B fire helmet adopts flame-retardant PA66 &glass fiber for helmet shell, balancing lightweight property and robust protection. It is suitable for complex working conditions such as fire suppression and emergency rescue, capable of resisting falling debris and high-temperature splashes, and meets the requirements for cold environments in Russia. Equipped with adjustable inner harness and stable chin strap, it delivers comfortable wearing experience and reliable stability, matching the practical usage habits of local fire brigades.
This certification project is a fruit of in-depth cooperation between Jiupai Safety and our Russian customer. At the preliminary stage, our technical team aligned requirements repeatedly with the Russian customer. Centered on clauses of GOST 30694-2021, local cold climate conditions and regulatory access requirements in Russia, we continuously optimized helmet structure and material formulation, and conducted multiple rounds of internal pre-tests to get fully prepared for smooth on-site certification. The Russian customer participated in the whole project communication, spoke highly of our complete production facilities and rigorous quality control system, and expects favorable results from this certification.
