It should be tested once a week to ensure that the alarm is in a normal working state. 
When the battery is installed and powered on, a 5-second automatic detection program needs to be performed. Press the start test button, if the alarm indicator light flashes rapidly and emits an alarm sound, the alarm is normal. 
Smoke alarm 
Under normal circumstances, the alarm indicator light flashes periodically (about once every minute). Every approximately 2 seconds, the automatic detection of the surrounding environmental smoke concentration is carried out. When the smoke concentration reaches the alarm value, the alarm indicator light starts to flash 15 seconds after the automatic detection delay, and the alarm emits an alarm sound. 
Battery detection: 
The alarm automatically detects the battery voltage every minute. Before the battery is depleted, it prompts once every minute (the alarm emits a "ding" sound). In this case, the battery should be replaced in time as it can last for 15 days. Otherwise, it will affect the normal operation of the alarm. 
Product maintenance: 
During use, if there is a usage failure, please contact the supplier as soon as possible. Do not disassemble and repair privately to avoid accidents. 
If it is not used for a long time, the detector must be removed, the battery taken out, and placed in the packaging box in a ventilated and dry place.
